The players and coaching staff have all agreed to give back the money to the 20-30 supporters who made the trip from around the country as a gesture to say sorry.
Without four first team stars available the side was too weak for the promotion hopefuls and despite the score being 2-0 at half time the away side crumbled to their worst away defeat ever.
Hopefully things will resume on Tuesday night when James Curtis, Andy Ferrell and possibly Daryl Clare all return to the side.
