Brittain Injury Update

Brittain, 24, has broken his Tibula and Fibula and had to be given morphine injections while receiving treatment on the pitch after the injury occured on 76 minutes.

With a 40 minute delay the referee allowed the game to be abandoned due to the shellshocked nature of the Brittain's teammates in the home dressing room.

The outcome of the abandonment is yet to be seen, but it could be the game is replayed in its entirity, or 14 minutes to finish the original 90. The other option will be to divide a point between the two clubs as the game was 0-0 at the time it was stopped, or all three are awarded to Hayes & Yeading.
