Bains, 22, could move perminantly if he does well over the next few months.
Manager Ian Bogie has been tracking the former Coventry and Accrington Stanley defender while he was on loan at Blyth Spartans earlier this season.
Bains has also played on loan with Tamworth while the club was in the Blue Square North.
The defender could play at Forest Green Rovers tomorrow, if not he will join the squad for the FA Trophy tie against Chippenham scheduled to be played at The International Stadium on Tuesday.
